Alien building:1. Never build structures in locations with long lines of sight. Reason: Humans have long range weapons. 2. If possible build on walls and ceilings. But avoid putting acid tubes and trappers too high, is useless. Reason: The grenade is very powerful. 3. Make a booster as soon your team reach stage 2. 4. Hives and barricades are almost useless.5. Use a hovel to protects the overmind and keep humans away from her. 6. Try to spread acid tubes instead of placing together 7. Don't place trappers on the floor.Example:
Atcs:
Stage 1:Isolated Acid tube protecting the Overmind and eggs against human painsaw. Two acid tubes slowing down humans to get the overmind. Three acid tubes protecting the egg and preventing humans to aim the overmind and the eggs. Stage 2-3 Two "hard to reach" eggs, a hovel preventing luci jumpers. Two acid tubes supporting the trapper to catch humans. A booster and an egg in a suitable position. Another trapper supported by an acid tube... First line of defense. [glow=red,2,300]***Things You Should Never Do***[/glow] This hovel blocks tyrants from reaching the overmind.

lol. I hate when people put trappers on the ground, unless I am playing human also, good tip with the hovel stoping human fire there, I've never thought about that.

How are you taking these screen shots? Fraps?
Any chance you pad this guide out for a few more of the std maps? I have found this very very useful.

Do da /bind f3 screenshot. Screenshots will then be in whatever the base dir is. Its usually <path/to/tremulous>/base, but sometimes its not. Best bet is to randomly look till you find it.
